Artist's Notes: The Boone Fork Trail from Price Park opens up to a large rolling pasture and old orchard. I am always taken by the undulating shapes of this hillside appearing almost like crests and troughs of an ocean wave. Our manganese blue Grandfather is cresting and ready to break! Symmetry and curved lines dominate this piece and result in a calm landscape, with just enough vertical conflict to provide some interest.
